Switching Utilities into a Tenant’s Name
In Acquaint you will be able to Switch the Utilities into your Tenant’s name when Creating a Tenancy and Checking In the Tenancy.
Switches can be monitored on the Property Button Switches screen and you can raise support cases with Property Button Support Cases screen.
Check In
To do this right click on a Tenancy in the Tenancy List screen and select Check In.
After clicking Yes to the message above, Acquaint will load the Utility Switching App.
Sending a Switch to Property Button from the Tenancy Check In screen transfers the following information to Property Button:
Tenant
Name
Mobile
Email 1
Date of Birth
Tenancy
Start Date
Type of Switch - Elec only, Gas Only, Dual fuel
Property
Address
Landlord
Name
Mobile
Email (optional)
MPRN
This’ll mean when you're going through the switch process on the App it’ll autofill the information above, making the switch a lot smoother, quicker and a whole lot easier.
