Brief Your Market

Brief Your Market is an automated marketing and communication website that is ideal for property professionals allowing you to send emails, newsletters, SMS Texts and online surveys to your Acquaint Contact List simply and efficiently. Brief Your Market also has additional tools that allow you to create your own online magazines, videoettes, newsletters and printed material.

Acquaint can seamlessly export your Contact List into Brief Your Market.

 The integration sends all Contacts regardless of status of type. Properties, Tenancies, Appointments and Offers are also sent.

Any Contacts that have been added or updated since the last export was run will be exported to Brief Your Market.

 Any Contacts that have unsubscribed from Brief Your Market will also be unsubscribed from mailshots sent from Acquaint.

The Marketing Preferences for Subscription Channels in Brief Your Market for Email, Post and SMS will get synched (using a 2-way synch) with Acquaint during the export.

GPDR and Brief Your Market

The integration between Brief Your Market and Acquaint has been designed to support GDPR. Settings are synched for SMS , Email and Post. If a Contact unsubscribes from Brief Your Market they will be unsubscribed from Acquaint and vice versa. Remember syncing occurs during the sync process either automatically during start or day or manually by clicking the Brief Your Market Export button on the Miscellaneous tab.

Both Acquaint and Brief Your Market enables communication to be sent according to whether it is Transactional (informative) or Marketing (contains a commercial message).

IMPORTANT Please be aware that it is your responsibility to ensure that you select the appropriate email type for the corresponding message. Sending a commercial message within a transactional SMS could lead to your business receiving a fine.

To set up the integration between Acquaint and Brief Your Market:

1. Contact Brief Your Market and set up an account

2. In Acquaint go to File → Configuration → Site / Branch

3. Select your Branch from the list

4. Expand the 3rd Party / Bespoke section and enter your Brief Your Market Web Service credentials

Exporting to Brief Your Market

This process will automatically run at the start of each day, however can also be run manually by clicking the Brief Your Market Export button on the Miscellaneous tab.

Optionally a Contact via a Send To Brief Your Market option on the Advanced tab on the Contact screen. This will not be visible if the Brief Your Market details haven't been entered in the System Configuration.
