Splink Integration
What is Splink?
Splink is a very simple way of Taking Card Payments and Sending Payment Requests for any money owed or even deposits that you need upfront.
Splink gives you the freedom of sending a payment request to your customers via SMS or email in real time.
How to Setup the Splink Integration?
Setting up Splink couldn’t be easier.
From the System Configuration screen there will be a box to add in the API Key.
To get to the System Configuration use the steps below:
File → Configuration → Site/Branch → Select your branch → [+] Bespoke / 3rd Party Links
For nearly all Customers this will already be filled in and ready to be used.
Benefits of using Splink:
Ability to send one or more transactions into a single payment link.
Payments received will show up in the bank reconciliation for the correct period.
Secure Payments.
Payment Link List - displays all Payment Links that’ve been created. Capable of using filters to get more defined information.
Payments received from Splink will auto-allocate to the debit it’s linked to.
Home Page reminders to show paid and unpaid Splink payments have been sent out and received.
Send out Payment Link when setting up Pre-Tenancies to receive Deposits and First Month’s Rent.
When using Payment Links for future rents the Landlords account will be credited as the rent due date.

Currently if a Payment Link has been deleted and the client opens the Link again they will see a blank screen if they go to Pay.
Using Splink for Casual Transactions
The video below will explain how to use Payment Links on any “normal” transaction. This could be used for Fees, Maintenance, Deposits and even Rent Dues.
