HMO Occupancy

🏘️ HMO Occupancy Screen Overview

The HMO Occupancy screen provides a snapshot of properties with active tenancies that meet HMO criteria. A property will appear on this screen if:

  • It is explicitly marked as an HMO

  • It has more than X occupants, regardless of HMO status

🧭 How to Access

Navigate to: Main → More → HMO Occupancy

📋 Displayed Information

Each entry on the HMO Occupancy screen includes:

  • Property – name or address

  • Owner – associated landlord or owner

  • Occupant Count – total number of current occupants

  • Occupants – names or identifiers of tenants

  • Info – additional notes or alerts

🔍 Filtering Options

You can refine the view using the following filters:

  • Management Type – filter by how the property is managed

  • Branch – view properties by office or location

  • Last Name Count – useful for identifying unrelated occupants

⚠️ HMO Warnings

If a property has more than X occupants but is not marked as an HMO (see Details #3 in the property record), a warning will appear in the Info column. This helps flag properties that may require licensing review.

📜 Regulatory Update
