Board Management

🏡 Property Board Management Overview

The Board Management screen in Acquaint allows you to oversee all aspects of property board handling—from updating statuses to placing board orders. For agencies using third-party providers, Acquaint offers seamless integration with:

  • Agency Express via their SignMaster software

  • Countrywide Signs via their board management system


📍 Accessing the Property Board List

To open the Property Board List screen:

  • Click the Boards button on the Main Ribbon

The screen displays the following columns:

Unique identifier for the property

Address

Property address

Owner

Property owner

Status

Current board status

Board

Type of board erected

Action Required

Any pending board-related actions

You can filter the list by Category, Branch, and Board Type. Use the Grid or Map View icons to toggle between list and map-based views (Google Maps integration).


🛠️ Menu Options

Available via the Menu button or by right-clicking on a property:

  • Edit – Modify an existing property board

  • New – Add a new property board

  • Report – Send a letter, email, or SMS to the property owner

  • Find – Search for specific text within the board list

  • Export Grid to Excel – Export the list to Microsoft Excel

  • Refresh – Reload the data on screen

  • Viewing Mode – Switch between List View and Map View


đź§ľ Adding Your Board Supplier

To set up your board supplier:

  • Add them as a Contact with a Type of Board Supplier

  • On first use, Acquaint will prompt you to select a board supplier contact


âž• Adding or Changing a Property Board

Add a Board

  • From the Property Board List, click New

  • Or go to Property → Details #3 and use the Board Erected dropdown

  • Select the board type: None, For Sale/To Let, Sold/Let, or Not Allowed

  • Click Save

Change a Board

  • Right-click the property in the list and select Edit

  • If the board type changes, Acquaint will prompt you to email the board supplier

  • If no supplier is set, you’ll be prompted to choose one

  • All changes are logged in the Property’s Journal


đź”— Agency Express Integration

For clients using Agency Express, Acquaint supports direct board requests via SignMaster.

Add a Board

  • Click New from the Property Board List or go to Details #3

  • Select the board type from the dropdown (includes standard, premium, etc.)

  • Specify the Number of Boards

  • Click Save

Once submitted, a Note is added to the property with type Agency Express, creating an audit trail.

Change a Board

  • Double-click the property or right-click and select from:

    • Erect Board

    • Re-Erect Board (enabled only if previously sent)

    • Service Board (enabled only if previously sent)

  • Use the Send to Agency Express checkbox to control whether the request is sent


đź”— Countrywide Signs Integration

For clients using Countrywide Signs, Acquaint enables job creation and board updates.

Add a Board

  • Right-click the property and choose Countrywide Signs → Add Job

  • The Property field will auto-fill

  • Select the Job Type (e.g. Erect, Change, Collect)

  • Optionally add Notes

  • Ensure Send to Countrywide Signs is ticked

  • Click Save

Change or Remove a Board

  • To change: Right-click and select Countrywide Signs → Add Job

  • To remove: Right-click and select Countrywide Signs → Collect Board

  • Add optional notes and click Save

All changes are recorded in the Property’s Journal.
