🗝️ Key Management Module Overview
The Key Management Module allows you to store and manage sets of keys associated with properties, while keeping track of who each key has been assigned to.
📂 Accessing the Key List Screen
You can access the Key List screen from two locations:

Main Tab → Key List View and manage all keys across properties.

Keys Tab on the Property Screen Displays all keys linked to the selected property.
➕ Adding a Key
To add a new key:

Click the New button on the Key List screen.

Complete the following fields:
🔧 Key Details

Property Select the property the key belongs to.

Reference / Peg This refers to the key’s location in your key cabinet. If multiple sets of keys exist for a property, ensure the reference is unique. Note: Acquaint auto-generates a reference using the property ID, but this can be manually edited.

Status Choose from the following options:

Available – Key is in the office and ready to use

Signed Out – Key has been taken by a contact

Lost – Key is missing

Archived – Key is no longer in use or has been returned to the owner

Notes Add any relevant free-form notes for internal reference.
