Key Management

The Key Management Module provides a system for storing sets of Keys against a Property and keeping track of who they have been assigned too.

The Key Lists screen be accessed from two places:

  1. The Key List function is accessed by Main tab -> Key List 

  2. From the Keys tab on the Properties screen - this will show all Keys for a specific Property

Adding a Key

  1. Click the New button on the Key List screen.

  2. Property - select Property that the Key belongs to

  3. Reference/Peg - this is a reference to your Key Cabinet. You need to ensure that if you have multiple set of Keys for a Property that your Reference takes this into account. Acquaint will generate a reference automatically using the property ID but this can be over typed as required.

  4. Specify the key Status from the drop down list.

  • Available

  • Signed Out - key has been taken by a Contact

  • Lost

  • Archived - use this Status when the Key is no longer in use or has been returned to the Owner
