Adding a Property

You cannot set up a Property on Acquaint without setting up an owner of that Property.

From the Properties or Property List screen click on the New button or from the Main tab on the ribbon menu click the New Items icon and select the Property option. You cannot set up a Property on Acquaint without setting up an owner of that Property.

The Property screen is divided into multiple sections; Main Details, Details #2, Details #3, Services, Correspondence, etc. that can be accessed from the Show group on the Ribbon Menu.

Various fields on the Properties screen are mandatory and must be entered. Some of this information is required by trading standards for marketing. Enter the Property details under the following sections as necessary:

Other options from the Advanced tab include.

• Copy Property

• Merge Properties

• Link To / Unlink - link to another Property

• Sales Commission Invoice

• Resell Property - this shows for completed sales Properties, when clicked a screen will be displayed showing the current owner (defaulted to the Contact who made the accepted offer against the original property). Clicking the Save button will copy the Property with the specified Owner and display the newly copied Property

• Split Landlord Payments

• Rent Guarantee

• Property Feedback Report - use this option to generate a Property Feedback report
