🏷️ Property Disinstruction Reasons
When a property is removed from the market—either by the vendor or landlord—a Disinstruction Reason is assigned. This occurs automatically when the Property Status is changed to Not Available or Archived.
🛠️ Creating and Managing Disinstruction Reasons
-
You can define an unlimited number of custom Disinstruction Reasons.
-
To create or manage them, go to:
File → Configuration → Properties → Disinstruction Reasons
Each reason can include a Follow-up Interval, which determines when a follow-up task will be automatically scheduled to re-engage the owner.
📅 Follow-Up Tasks
When disinstructing a property:
-
Select the appropriate Disinstruction Reason
-
A follow-up task will be automatically created based on the interval set
-
Click Save to confirm
This helps ensure timely re-contact with owners to assess whether circumstances have changed.
