🛑 Cancelling a Pre-Tenancy
To cancel a Pre-Tenancy:

Locate the relevant Tenancy

Right-click on it and select Cancel Pre-Tenancy
🔄 What Happens When You Cancel
Cancelling a Pre-Tenancy triggers the following actions:

Displays the Holding Deposit Received

Prompts you to choose how to handle the deposit:

Option |
Description |

Refund Tenant |
Returns the holding deposit to the tenant. This will create a Payment Made To You. |
|
Transfer to Company Account |
Retains the deposit and applies it toward a new admin fee charge. |
|
Transfer to Landlord |
Transfers the holding deposit directly to the landlord. |
🏡 Property Status & Notes

You’ll be prompted to remarket the property

You can also add notes, which will be saved in the Notes section of the Tenancy record
⚠️ Important Note
When cancelling a Pre-Tenancy and selecting either Refund to Tenant or Transfer to Company Account, the system will automatically process the deposit according to your selection.
