Tenancy Management Type

Tenancy Management Types enable different Management Types to be set-up and define the Tenancy type level i.e., fully Managed, rent Collect or let only. Default Management Types are included as standard but custom Management Types can be created as required. Some screens and reports can be filtered on the Tenancy Management Type.

Adding a new Tenancy Management Type

  1. Add new Management Types via File → Configuration → Tenancies → Management Types.

  2. Click New

  3. Enter the name in the Description field

  4. At the Type field select from Full Managed, Rent Collect or Let Only. This defines what type of management type you creating i.e. whether you are simply collecting rent or providing a fully managed service.

  5. Click Save

 

A default Management Type can be set against for a Contact (Landlord) in More Details → Landlord Settings → Management Type and against a Property via Details #3 → Management Type.

 

Once this has been selected it cannot be changed after saving.

Custom managed types the service level of a fully managed properties. For example a 'Bronze' level could be 11% Rent Collected which includes an inspection, 'Silver' level includes all inspections and year end return and Disputes which would be chargeable under 'Bronze' level.
