👥 Tenant Introduction Function
The Tenant Introduction function is used when introducing an applicant or tenant to a landlord, typically involving a one-off upfront fee.
Note: This action does not create a Tenancy record, but it does update the Property Status to Completed.
📍 How to Access
You can access the Tenant Introduction screen from:

The Contact screen:
Click the Tenancies icon, then select Tenant Introduction from the Menu button -
The Tenancy List screen:
Select Tenant Introduction from the Menu button

Fill in the following details:

Enter any upfront fees (e.g. admin, reference checks) and select the appropriate product from the dropdown |

Total Due |
Displays the total amount due from the tenant |

Receive Payment Now? |
Tick this box to generate a receipt for the tenant payment |

Landlord Fee #1 and #2 |
Enter any upfront fees charged to the landlord and select the appropriate product |

Specify how the landlord is paying |

Total Due |
Displays the total amount due from the landlord |

Receive Payment Now? |
Tick this box to generate a receipt for the landlord payment |

Bank Account |
Choose the account (Client, Current, Deposit) to post setup fees and deposits |

Received Date |
Enter the date the payment was received |

Received By |
Select the user who processed the payment |
