QR Codes

QR Code (short for Quick Response Barcode) is a specific matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by dedicated QR Code readers and smart phones with cameras such as iPhoneBlackberry, etc running a Reader App. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can be text, web sites URLs or other data.

QR Codes are becoming common place on marketing materials and provide an easy means for information to be read, saved and used.

For example, the following QR Code contains the text "For the best sales & lettings software visit www.acquaintcrm.co.uk".

By reading the QR Code with a smart phone App, the barcode information is de-coded and the web site address can be visited.

Acquaint will automatically generate a QR Code for each Property that can be included in printed particulars via a mailmerge field or bookmark. The QR Code can be read at some distance so can even be used on Window Cards. The Property QR Code contains the address of the property, bedrooms and a web link.

From here you can choose to Copy or Print the QR code.

Additional one-off QR Codes can be generated from QR Code Generator icon located under the Marketing Tools tab. These can be printed or copied to the clipboard for inclusion in other software packages.
