Match and Market

🔍 Match & Market Feature Overview

The Match & Market feature in Acquaint streamlines the process of matching properties to contacts and distributing property details via email or post.

Access via: Marketing Tools → Match & Market


🧭 Interface Overview

The screen is divided into two tabs:

  • Email Property Details – Send matched property details via email

  • Post Property Details – Generate letters and address labels for postal distribution

Each tab displays:

  • A count of matched contacts

  • A browsing panel to view and manage matched contacts


🏢 Filtering Options

Use the following fields to refine your matching process:

  • Branch – Select the branch responsible for processing

  • Usage – Filter by Residential or Commercial properties

  • Category – Choose All Properties, For Sale, or To Let


⚙️ Matching Logic & Fine-Tuning

Matching is automatically performed based on each contact’s Property Requirements. You can further refine results using these options:

  • Exclude Contacts if previously:

    • Emailed

    • Posted

    • SMS Texted

    • Collected

  • Contacts in the Type Only – Include contacts of a specific type

  • Contacts in the Status Only – Include contacts with a specific status

  • Contacts in this Buying Position Only – Include contacts based on buying position


📧 Emailing Property Details

Under the Email Property Details tab:

  1. View the count of matched contacts

  2. Click Send Emails to open the preview screen

  3. Review emails before sending

  4. To inspect or edit contact details, click Browse Contacts and use the Edit Contact function

  5. Click Send Email to preview and send the emails

💡 Only Email Templates with the type Property Bulletin (Matched Properties) are available for use.

✉️ Posting Property Details

Under the Post Property Details tab:

  1. View the count of matched contacts

  2. Click Letter or Address Labels to preview before printing

  3. After printing, generate a Collation Report to list each contact and the properties being sent

  4. Running the report also updates each contact record to log the sent properties

  5. Use Undo Posting to reverse the update if needed


🧠 Applicant Matching Field

Located on the Details #3 screen of a property:

  • Default setting: All – Matches applicants to properties

  • Optional setting: None – Prevents matching applicants to this property

    • Note: You can still load a property and click Match to view interested contacts
