📰 Property Advert Tool Overview

The Property Advert Tool in Acquaint enables you to generate property advert text and images as an email, which can be sent directly to a selected Publication (e.g. newspaper, magazine).

🔧 Accessing the Tool

You can access the Property Advert Tool via:

Marketing Tools → Designers group → Property Advert Designer

📋 Functionality

Once opened, the tool allows you to:

• Select a Publication from your contact list

• View a list of Available Properties, including their Last Publication Date

• Assign a Reference to each property (as provided by the publication) using the Edit button

🏠 Property Details Displayed

For each property, the following fields are shown:

✉️ Creating and Sending Adverts

Clicking Create will:

• Generate an email with the advert content

• Flag each property as Published

• Attach a .JPG of the Main Picture and the QR Code (if previously generated via web upload or Property Particulars creation)

Publication history can be viewed on the Publications tab within the Property screen.

📝 Vendor/Landlord Letters

You can also select a Letter Template to generate letters for Vendors or Landlords of the selected properties (e.g. notifying them of upcoming advertising).

🛠️ Creating a Property Advert

Before selecting a publication, ensure it is set up correctly:

1. Add the publication as a Contact in Acquaint

2. Set the Contact Type to Publication

3. Enter Company and Address details under the Business Address tab

4. Mark this address as the Mailing Address

📤 Advert Setup Steps

1. Select the Publication from the drop-down list

2. Specify the Publication Date

3. Choose a Category: All, For Sale, or To Let

4. Tick any of the following options:

   • Include Pictures

   • Flag Properties

   • Include Bullet Points

   • Include Under Offer

   • Include Available Dates

5. Add any custom notes in the Publication Notes field

6. Select a Vendor/Landlord Letter Template if needed

7. Click Email Test to preview the email

8. Click Email Live to send the final advert

📌 Additional Notes

• Publications must have a valid email address to receive adverts

• The Advert Description field on each property will be used in the advert; if blank, the Brief Description will be used instead

• Use the Edit button to manually enter or update the publication reference for each property
