Account Transfer

The Account Transfer screen allows you to transfer monies between a Contact's Bank Accounts or between Contacts. For example a Landlord may ask you to use funds from one of their Properties to cover a repair for another you can use the Account Transfer to different Properties Accounts.

Transferring Funds

  1. Find the Contact you are transferring from and click Account.

  2. From the Menu button choose Transfer Funds.

  3. The Account to Transfer From details will be pre-filled but can be changed, for instance you may wish to select an alternative Contact or Bank Account.

  4. In Account To Transfer To choose the Contact you are transferring to. So if you are transferring between Bank Accounts for a single Contact leave the Contact the same. If you are transferring between Contacts select the Contact you are transferring to.

  5. Specify the Property and Bank Account the funds are being transferred to.

  6. Specify a Product for the transfer to be against and the date on which it took place.

  7. If you're not transferring the full amount, specify the Amount and add any Statement Notes as required.

  8. Click Save. A warning will appear if the Contact you are transferring finds from doesn't have enough available credit to cover this transfer. Are you sure you want to do this? Clicking No will give the option to cancel at this point.
