Credit Note

There may be instances where you need to raise a credit note for a Tenancy or a Landlord regarding fees that you have charged etc.

Add a Credit Note to their Account

  1. Find the Contact and select Account to display their Account screen. If they have multiple Properties you can use the Properties filter in the bottom left of the screen to select the relevant Property the transaction relates to.

  1. The Contact and Property details will be pre-filled.

  2. The Bank Account will default to the Client Account but can be changed using the drop-down arrow.

  3. You can choose where to transfer the money from the Credit Note from, this can be from your Fees and your untransferred amount will be displayed next to this or your bank account.

  4. The date the Credit Note is being raised, this will default to today but can be changed as required.

  5. Select a Product for the Credit Note.

  6. Choose a Payment Method

  7. Optionally add a note that will appear on a statement

  8. Optionally store Notes against the transaction

  9. Click Save
