Acquaint's SMS Gateway integration provide the ability for your Contacts to reply to your texts. These replies are then automatically imported into Acquaint and stored against the Contact’s Correspondences giving you a complete “conversation”.

 

A SMS List screen provides quick and easy access to all SMS texts sent, received and also those that are unread and need responding to.

To use this service a virtual mobile number needs to be subscribed to, request for this to be activated via support@brightlogic.co.uk

Using SMS Reply

The SMS Texts List screen shows all SMS Texts. The screen helps you deal with incoming texts and easily reply or process them. From the Menu button (or right-clicking) the following options are available.

  • New

  • Edit

  • Set as Unread

  • Set all as Read

  • Send as a Message to User

  • Find

  • Export Grid to Excel

  • Refresh

Acquaint will notify you of unread SMS text messages via a Home Page reminder and Desktop Alert, clicking on either of these will take you to the SMS Texts screen where unread messages will be displayed in bold text.

To reply to a SMS Text right click on the SMS text in the list and select New. The Send SMS Text screen will appear enabling you to write your SMS text. Click Send.
