This applies only to certain councils whereby all Landlords and Property managing agents letting a property need to apply for a licence. For some authorities this may be by Landlord and for others it is by Property (see Property Licence).
Landlord Registration Certificates can be accessed for a Landlord record by clicking the Certificates icon on the ribbon menu.
A Home Page reminder shows Landlord Registration that are required / need renewing. Settings in the Landlord Registration allows you to specify the reminder period in days.
Entering Landlord Details

From the Landlord record

Click the Certificate icon

Click the New button to enter the Landlord Registration Certificate details.

The Owner will be selected by default

Select the Issuer this will be the Local Authority against where the Property is registered.

Enter the Reference.

Specify the Start and End Date of the registration, typically the registration lasts 3 years.

Notes may be entered as required. Correspondence methods are available enabling you to write a Letter, Note, Task, SMS Text or Email relating to the Certificate.

Click the Save button.
When adding a Certificate the system checks if an active Certificate of the same type for the Contact/Property exists with a warning if one is present.
