Web Site News

The Website News function allows you to add new items to your website, if your website has been created by Bright Logic Ltd. The news items can also be uploaded to your Twitter and Facebook pages. Our automatic portal uploading system will automatically take your news stories and feed them to your subscribed portals and social networking sites.

Portal Uploading is an additional monthly service, prices are available here.

When uploading an image to a news item, please make sure you have the rights to use the image or the image is copyright free.

 Adding a Web site news item

1. From the Marketing Tools tab on the Main ribbon menu click Web Site News.

2. Click the New icon.

3. Enter a headline in the Subject field.

4. In the Date field enter the date of the news.

5. Type the article in the Body field.

6. Select a picture to upload alongside the article by clicking Add.

7. Click Save.

8. The news article will be added to the upload queue to be automatically uploaded.

 Removing News Items

1. To remove articles from your website, access the Marketing Tools tab on the Main ribbon menu click Web Site News.

2. Select the news item from the lookup table and select the Inactive check box.

3. Click Save. The news article will be added to the upload queue to be automatically uploaded.
