Transfer Deposits

It is important to ensure you are managing your Deposits. Initially, Deposits will remain in the Client Account until they are transferred to the Deposit Account or into the TDS Custodial Scheme.

 

Deposits are managed by transferring them between your deposit accounts using the Transfer Deposits function this will also provide a full audit trail of these monies.

 

From the Home Page a Reminder appears for Deposit Account Transfers. When clicked on, this will display the Transfer Deposits screen. This screen can also be accessed by via the Transfer Deposits option located under the Financial tab, in the Account Transfers drop down in the General group of the ribbon menu.

Transferring Deposits

The Transfer Deposits screen will list all the deposits displayed and include the following information:

  • Received Date

  • Contact

  • Property

  • Deposit

  • TDS ID

  1. Specify the account you are transferring to from the Transfer To drop-down list, this defaults to the Deposit Account but optionally you may wish to transfer deposits to the Custodial Scheme.

  2. Select the Include check box against the deposits you want to include and click Run.
