🏷️ Contact Statuses in Acquaint
Contact Statuses define the lifecycle stage or relevance of a Contact—such as Current, Archived, or Expired. They help filter, organize, and automate workflows.
📍 Accessing & Managing Statuses
To add or edit Statuses: File → Configuration → Contacts → Statuses
You can create unlimited custom Statuses to suit your business needs.
🛠️ Status Configuration Fields

Retires the Status from active use (removes it from lookup options) |
🧾 Default Statuses
Acquaint includes these by default:

Current – Active and engaged Contacts

Expired – No longer relevant; excluded from matches
🔄 Automatic Status Changes
Statuses can be automatically updated based on key actions, such as:

Offer accepted or rejected

Property sale completed

Property becomes available
