Merge Contact
🔄 Merging Duplicate Contacts in Acquaint
If a Contact has been duplicated, you can use the Merge Contact function to consolidate their records. This process transfers all relevant data from one Contact into another and permanently deletes the duplicate.
Important: The merge process is irreversible. Ensure you’ve selected the correct records before proceeding.
đź§ Steps to Merge Contacts
Locate the duplicate Contact you wish to merge from
Click Edit
Go to the Advanced tab on the ribbon menu
Select Merge Contacts
In the Merge Contact Records screen:
Use the dropdown to find and select the target Contact you want to merge into
Click Run to complete the merge
Once complete, the selected Contact will be removed, and its data will be merged into the target Contact’s record.
