Automatic Appointment Reminders

Appointment reminders can be sent automatically via Email and SMS Text. SMS Text reminders will use the credit on your SMS Text account.

Branch Managers will be presented with the following screens, enabling this to be easily activated. This can be activated later or disabled easily via System Configuration, see below.

You can customise the text for your reminders against each Appointment Type in Appointment Types in File → Configuration → Appointments → Types using the Email Reminder Template and SMS Reminder Template.

Typically you would want Send Email Reminders and Send SMS Reminders for some appointments like viewings, valuations and inspections, but probably not for your meetings. This can be managed by Appointment Type using the Send Email Reminder and SMS Reminders check boxes.

Switching on Automatic Appointment reminders

This can switched on via File → Configuration → Site/Branch → Appointments → Automatically Send Reminders X Hours Before Appointment and change hours from 0 to the number of hours before the appointment you want the reminders to be sent.

Switching off Automatic Appointment reminders

This can switched off via File → Configuration → Site/Branch → Appointments → Automatically Send Reminders X Hours Before Appointment and changing hours to 0.
